Indra Alam
Indra Alam is a Cuban born, Miami based designer, creative and artist. Equipped with a Masters degree in Architecture, Indra approaches every project with meticulous, full dedication, paying attention to the small details along the way. Upon venturing into a project, Indra’s creative process consists on superimposing various methods and skills acquired from cross-disciplines (art, architecture, branding, fabrication). Indra works with interactive art installations, as she is fascinated with studying the interaction between human+art+space (also explored in analog drawings+ digital compositions). Her portfolio includes branding/design leadership roles with global companies such as Heineken and Samsung, among others; as well as having independently designed full brand identities for personal and commercial brands
Among her achievements, Indra Alam was awarded the Excellence in Design award for the Graduate Thesis. She also high values academia, and has led Graduate Architectural Design Studios. Her work was exhibited during Art Basel; including an interactive, habitable installations in 2017-2019, gallery exhibitions in 2020 and at the Miami Art Basel 2008 Green Art Fair; on multiple occasions at the Coral Gables Museum and the BEA Gallery in Miami Florida.
